Is Fields of Mistria single-player?

Yes. It's a single-player farming and life-sim RPG — there is no multiplayer or co-op mode. Your farm, town, and story are entirely your own.

Does it have co-op or multiplayer?

No. The game is single-player only. There is no online or local co-op, and no crossplay between platforms.

What platforms is it on?

PC via Steam — Windows and Linux (SteamOS). It's Steam Deck Verified. Console versions are under evaluation by NPC Studio and have not been announced.

When did it release?

It entered Steam Early Access on August 5, 2024, and launched its full 1.0 version on August 5, 2026 — the same week it passed one million copies sold.

Can you get married?

Yes, in the 1.0 update. There are 12 romance candidates; at 10 hearts you can craft an Engagement Ring, propose, customize a wedding, and unlock an optional children system.

Will my older PC run it?

The minimum GPU is modest (GTX 460 / R7 240), but a 64-bit OS and 6 GB RAM are required. See the System Requirements page.
